As the title suggests, it’s time for another challenge. I’ve been slacking a bit recently and have noticed my workouts are getting too easy, so it’s time to take it to the next level. Not just physically, but mentally too. So this month I’m doing two challenges.
First, every day I am going to do 2 forms of exercise. One in the morning and one at night, except Sundays, everyone deserves a day off. This can mean doing some yoga, running, calisthenics training, weight lifting, or just some stretching if that’s all my body can handle. But two times day I need to move my body and work my muscles. I’ll also be using ankle and wrist weights during my workouts for extra resistance while also strengthening my joints, just as a supplemental challenge.
Second, I’ll be posting something every day in the month of February on this blog. That’s right. 28 posts this month baby. It might get weird in here but that’s the only way I’ll get good, and maybe I’ll get some more readers along the way too. I see this as another way to push myself, especially towards something I can see blossoming into a passion of mine. The only way to grow is through practice, so here we go.
Technically there’s a third challenge too, but it’s really just making sure nutrition is on point to fuel all of this. From the wise words of bodybuilding legend ZYZZ, if you’re not eating properly you might as well not work out at all. Growth comes not only from working hard but also proper eating, and a functioning brain also requires good nutrition. So meals, snacks and drinks will be logged and documented so I can stay on track and meet my macro goals on a daily basis.
Day one has already been a success, and technically this counts for day 2. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted how its going. Until then, rock on, stay strong.
